At Simmans Medical all Healthcare staffs are each fully assessed by us, keeping in line with our company Terms and Procedures, NMC Code of Practice, National Care Standards, British Dental Association, and are updated with latest regulations and legislations.

Our Services

Candidates

To ensure that Simmans Medical compiles with all areas of the codes of practice, we pre-screen all registering candidates to ensure quality standards and best practice.

We provide up to date training / induction to candidates and staff for their career development as well as provide on going professional recruitment, advice and support.

Each healthcare professional registered with the agency is required to complete and return the following information:

	Passport
	Two passport size photographs
	NMC Pin Card (Registered Nurses & Midwives Only)
	Statement of entry to NMC Register (Registered Nurses & Midwives Only)
	Details of supervisor (Midwives only)
	Details of immigration status
	2 x proofs of residence (utility bill and bank statement) must be no more then 3 months old
	P45 if applicable
	National Insurance Card
	Certificate of qualifications and training certificates (including Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Health and safety, Fire safety, food and Hygiene, Infection control etc.,)
	Details of previous employment
	Evidence of immunisations (proof of immunity to Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Rubella, Varicella (lab results only) and tuberculosis)
	Name, address, telephone and fax number and two professional referees of previous and current employment.
	CRB Checks Enhanced level, with POVA Check.

Our Rates of Pay

Weekly

Week Day rates ARE paid on hours worked from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Week Night rates ARE paid on hours worked from 8:00pm to 8:00am. WEEKEND DAY ratesARE paid on hours worked from 8:00am to 8:00pm. WEEKEND Night rates ARE paid on hours worked from 8:00pm to 8:00am. Bank Holiday rates paid on hours worked from Midnight on the start of the holiday to 8:00am on the following day, the same will apply to Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
